The Tabby Gene

The Tabby Gene

The colour and pattern of a cat’s fur are regulated by many genes. To make things a bit simpler, all cats have one of the above three tabby patterns. Which one does your cat have? Keda has mackerel striping, whereas Baby and Pepper have abyssinian.

Details about cat genetics can be found at the following website, where I copied the image.

  1. I came to your “The Tabby Gene | A kitty a day” page and noticed you could have a lot more traffic. I have found that the key to running a website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your subject matter. There is a company that you can get traffic from and they let you try it for free. I managed to get over 300 targetted visitors to day to my website. Check it out here: http://voxseo.com/traffic/

  2. It’s nearly impossible to find educated people for this topic – The Tabby Gene | A kitty a day, but you seem like you know what you’re talking about! Thanks
